Christian Education
Calvary Baptist Church is committed to providing Christian Education in all of its' aspects for the purpose of "perfecting the saints for the work of the ministry." (Ephesians 4:12) We currently have the following ministries of Christian Education:
Discipleship Hour
Every Sunday we have grade classes with qualified teachers helping students to understand God's Word.
Home School Support Group
On two Fridays each month, children come to CBC for Chapel, Art, Music, and Physical Education. The children also present a play once each semester. BJ LINC Classes
Our new Charter Memorial Christian Education Center has been equipped with a BJ LINC Satellite so that interested people may take classes directly from Bob Jones University. Two very helpful programs are available to anyone who is interested.
Institute of Biblical Education
IBE provides a variety of Bible Courses designed to help believers experience "God's light for living." These inexpensive noncredit studies are open to lay people of all ages. Two pre-recorded units are broadcast each semester, with opportunities for live interaction with an on-air moderator.
Extended Education Satellite College Courses
Bob Jones University's Office of Extended Education offers courses through this medium. This is an excellent way to receive undergraduate and graduate credit without the extra travel and expense.
